Định $m$ để phương trình :
$\cos 2x=m\cos^2x.\sqrt{1+\tan x}$ có nghiệm trên $[0;\frac{\Pi}{3}]$               (1)

Xét $x\in [0;\frac{\pi}{3}]$. Đặt   $t=\tan x$ thì $ t\in [0;\sqrt{3}]$
Ta có : $\cos 2x=2\cos^2x-1=\frac{2}{1+\tan^2x}-1=\frac{1-\tan^2x}{1+\tan^2x}$
Khi đó : PT (1)        $\Leftrightarrow \frac{1-t^2}{1+t^2}=\frac{m}{1+t^2}\sqrt{1+t}$
                                 $\Leftrightarrow 1-t^2=m\sqrt{1+t}  $        
                                 $\Leftrightarrow  (1-t)\sqrt{1+t}=m$( vì $(1+t)>0$)
 Xét $ f(t)=(1-t).\sqrt{1+t},  t\in[0;\sqrt{3}]$
        $ f'(t)=-\sqrt{1+t}+\frac{1-t}{2\sqrt{1+t}}=-\frac{3t+1}{2\sqrt{1+t}}<0, \forall t\in [0;\sqrt{3}]$
Để PT có nghiệm trên $[0;\sqrt{3}]\Leftrightarrow Min_{[0;\sqrt{3}]}f(t)\leq m\leq Max_ {[0;\sqrt{3}]}f(t) $
                                                        $\Leftrightarrow f(\sqrt{3})\leq m\leq f(0)$
 Vậy $\frac{-2}{\sqrt{1+\sqrt{3}}}\leq m \leq1$ là kết quả
