Định a để hệ phương trình sau có nghiệm duy nhất:

trừ từng vế $(1)$ và $(2)$:
$y^{2}-x^{2}=x^{3}-y^{3}-4\left(x^{2}-y^{2}\right)+a\left(x-y\right)$
$\Leftrightarrow x^{3}-y^{3}-3\left(x^{2}-y^{2}\right)+a\left(x-y\right)=0$
$\Leftrightarrow \left(x-y\right)[ x^{2}+y^{2}+xy-3\left(x+y\right)+a]=0$
$\Leftrightarrow \left[ \begin{array}{l}x =y\\ x^{2}+y^{2}+xy-3\left(x+y\right)+a=0\end{array} \right.$
nếu $x=y: x^{2}=x^{3}-4x^{2}+ax\Leftrightarrow x\left(x^{2}-5x+a\right)\Leftrightarrow \left[ \begin{array}{l}x = 0\\ x^{2}-5x+a=0 \end{array} \right.$
để hệ có nghiệm duy nhất thì $\Delta =25-4a<0\Leftrightarrow a>\frac{25}{4}$ lúc này xét phương trình:
$x^{2}+y^{2}+xy-3x-3y+a=0$
$\Leftrightarrow x^{2}+\left(y-3\right)x+y^{2}-3y+a=0(*)$
phương trình này có $\Delta= \left(y-3\right)^{2}-4\left(y^{2}-3y+a\right)=-3y^{2}+6y+9-4a$
tam thức bậc hai $-3y^{2}+6y+9-4a$ có $\Delta= 9+3\left(9-4a\right)=36-12a=12\left(3-a\right)<0$ với $a>\frac{25}{4}$
