Chứng minh rằng nếu $a, b$ là những số dương, $a^2 \geq b$ thì :
    $\sqrt {a + \sqrt b }  = \sqrt {\frac{{a + \sqrt {{a^2} - b} }}{2}}  + \sqrt {\frac{{a - \sqrt {{a^2} - b} }}{2}} $
    $\sqrt {a - \sqrt b }  = \sqrt {\frac{{a + \sqrt {{a^2} - b} }}{2}} - \sqrt {\frac{{a - \sqrt {{a^2} - b} }}{2}}  $
    Áp dụng hai đẳng thức trên, rút gọn các biểu thức :
$a)$ $2\sqrt {3 + \sqrt {5 - \sqrt {13 + \sqrt {48} } } } $
$b)$ $\frac{{2 + \sqrt 3 }}{{\sqrt 2  + \sqrt {2 + \sqrt 3 } }} + \frac{{2 - \sqrt 3 }}{{\sqrt 2  - \sqrt {2 - \sqrt 3 } }}$


                                       Giải 
Ta có: 
 Đặt : $u = \frac{{a + \sqrt {{a^2} - b} }}{2},v = \frac{{a - \sqrt {{a^2} - b} }}{2}$ 
$\Rightarrow $    u + v = a, $u.v = \frac{b}{4} \Leftrightarrow b = 4uv \Leftrightarrow \sqrt b  = 2\sqrt
{uv} $
$\Rightarrow $$\sqrt {a + \sqrt b }  = \sqrt {u + v + 2\sqrt {uv} }  = \sqrt {{{\left( {\sqrt u }
\right)}^2} + {{\left( {\sqrt v } \right)}^2} + 2\sqrt {uv} } $
=$\sqrt {{{\left( {\sqrt u  + \sqrt v } \right)}^2}}  = \sqrt u  + \sqrt v $
$ = \frac{{a + \sqrt {{a^2} - b} }}{2} + \frac{{a - \sqrt {{a^2} - b} }}{2}$
Tương tự : $\sqrt {a + \sqrt b }  = \sqrt {u + v + 2\sqrt {uv} }  = \sqrt u  - \sqrt v $
                $ = \sqrt {\frac{{a + \sqrt {{a^2} - b} }}{2}}  - \sqrt
{\frac{{a - \sqrt {{a^2} - b} }}{2}} $   
Áp dụng :
$a) $Ta có :
    $\sqrt {13 + \sqrt {48} }  = \sqrt {\frac{{13 + \sqrt {169 - 48} }}{2}}  + \sqrt
{\frac{{13 - \sqrt {169 - 48} }}{2}}  = 2\sqrt 3  + 1$
    $\sqrt {5 - \sqrt {13 + \sqrt {48} } }  = \sqrt {5 - 2\sqrt 3  - 1}  = \sqrt {4 - \sqrt {12} }  $
      $ = \sqrt {\frac{{4 + \sqrt {16 - 12} }}{2}}  - \sqrt {\frac{{4 - \sqrt {16 - 12} }}{2}}  = \sqrt 3  - 1$
$ \Rightarrow 2.\sqrt {3 + \sqrt {5 - \sqrt {13 + \sqrt {48} } } }  = 2\sqrt {3 + \sqrt 3  - 1}  =
2\sqrt {2 + \sqrt 3 } $
                $ = 2\left[ {\sqrt {\frac{{2 + \sqrt {4 - 3} }}{2}}  + \sqrt
{\frac{{2 - \sqrt {4 - 3} }}{2}} } \right]$
                $ = 2\left( {\sqrt {\frac{3}{2}}  + \sqrt {\frac{1}{2}} }
\right) = 2\left( {\frac{{\sqrt 3  + 1}}{{\sqrt 2 }}} \right) = \sqrt 6  + \sqrt 2 $
$b)$    $\frac{{2 + \sqrt 3 }}{{\sqrt 2  + \sqrt {2 + \sqrt 3 } }} = \frac{{2 + \sqrt 3 }}{{\sqrt 2  +
\sqrt {\frac{{2 + \sqrt {4 - 3} }}{2}}  + \sqrt {\frac{{2 - \sqrt {4 - 3} }}{2}} }}$           
$ = \frac{{2 + \sqrt 3 }}{{\sqrt 2  + \frac{{\sqrt 3  + 1}}{{\sqrt 2 }}}} = \frac{{2\sqrt 2  + \sqrt 6
}}{{3 + \sqrt 3 }}$
Tương tự, ta có : $\frac{{2 - \sqrt 3 }}{{\sqrt 2  - \sqrt {2 - \sqrt 3 } }} = \frac{{2 - \sqrt 3
}}{{\sqrt 2  - \frac{{\sqrt 3  - 1}}{{\sqrt 2 }}}} = \frac{{2\sqrt 2  - \sqrt 6 }}{{3 - \sqrt 3 }}$
$ \Rightarrow \frac{{2 + \sqrt 3 }}{{\sqrt 2  + \sqrt 2  + \sqrt 3 }} + \frac{{2 - \sqrt 3 }}{{\sqrt 2 

- \sqrt {2 - \sqrt 3 } }} = \frac{{2\sqrt 2  + \sqrt 6 }}{{3 + \sqrt 3 }} + \frac{{2\sqrt 2  - \sqrt 6

}}{{3 - \sqrt 3 }}$
$ = \frac{{\left( {2\sqrt 2  + \sqrt 6 } \right)\left( {3 - \sqrt 3 } \right) + \left( {2\sqrt 2  - \sqrt 6 }

\right)\left( {3 + \sqrt 3 } \right)}}{{9 - 3}} = \frac{{6\sqrt 2 }}{6} = \sqrt 2 $.
